WE ALL HAVE A CROWN THAT REPRESENTS US

We are a jewelry and haute couture atelier that designs, makes and produces the piece that best represents the uniqueness of those who come to us. We combine different arts - from jewelry, clothing and embroidery - with the dedication and time inherent to the artisanal process to create statement pieces that empower and reflect each person's identity.

We believe that our pieces convey the same empowerment and confidence as wearing a crown and we want each one of them to make us capable of achieving any dream.

THE DESIGNER

Catarina Vassalo, founder and designer of the Cata Vassalo brand, lived between Valencia and London for more than a decade. Immersed in these cultures, she understood that in both countries, weddings and events were seen by their protagonists as an opportunity to express their identity through fashion and accessories.

Inspired by this, Catarina opened a studio in the historic center of Valencia. On the day Kate Middleton and Prince William got married, the designer sold her first headdress and never looked back. In 2015, he returned to Portugal and opened the Cata Vassalo brand and atelier with the aim of creating statement pieces that become signatures of each person's unique identity.
